How to Declutter any Room in Five Easy Steps

How to Declutter any Room in Five Easy Steps

Tolerances are things we live with that don’t make us feel good – but are not bad enough to make us act right away. Whether it’s a cluttered or messy closet, a load of laundry that needs to be folded and put away, or a broken sink – tolerances get in the way of growth and fulfillment. The goal should be to rid our lives with as many tolerances as possible so that we don’t have those negative feelings when passing by the load of unfolded laundry, or when we need to jiggle the handle of a sink 3 times in order to get it to work properly.

Clutter is one of the biggest tolerances that people face on a daily basis. Whether it’s clutter in your home, office or car – clutter is proven to be detrimental to your growth and success. When your area is cluttered, your life feels cluttered.

The Oprah Winfrey Network recently posted a great article on How to Declutter any Room in Five Easy Steps. We can all learn from this simple process – and use it in our daily lives! After reading through all five steps, write down the top three places in your life that need decluttering (for example- a drawer, shelf, room, closet or car). Then take one location at a time and watch how clear things become.
